Study Options

There are a lot of subject choices in the NCEA curriculum, as for Level 1, there are limited options but in Level 2 there are more choices and so on.

At Carmel, when you reach NCEA Level 1, there are four conpulsary subjects and three optional subjects out of seventeen optional classess, three of them being language courses.

The four compulsory classes are Religious Education, English, Maths and Science. The optional courses varies from Accounting to Te Reo Maori.
